Dr. Lisa McIntyre-Hite is Senior Principal of Learning Solutions at Guild Education. Prior to joining Guild, she was Vice President at Pathstream, an ed-tech start-up incubated at Entangled Solutions, where she served as a strategic advisor focused on higher education futures. McIntyre-Hite was the founding dean for competency-based education and executive director for learning innovation at Laureate Education where she developed its direct-assessment offering, seeing it through from pilot to scale.

Waukecha WIlkerson is a single mother of 14-year-old and 5-year-old sons and a 7-year-old daughter. She is a scholar of psychology at California State University, Sacramento. Waukecha fulfills her passion for serving others through her life coaching business, Won’t She Do It. As a life and wellness coach, she encourages others to identify their own goals, create paths towards achieving those goals, and actionable steps to take towards creating their best life. Waukecha also leads a team of life and wellness coaches for the top mobile learning technology company, Cell-Ed.

Vinice Davis - Speaker
Venture Partner, Imaginable Futures
Vinice Davis is a Venture Partner at Imaginable Futures, a global philanthropic investment firm and a venture of The Omidyar Group, where she leads postsecondary investments for adult learners in the U.S. Previously, Vinice was the Chief Operating Officer at Purpose Built Schools Atlanta, a partnership with Atlanta Public Schools to turn around some of the city’s lowest-performing schools. Vinice was also the Vice President of Improvement Services at AdvancED where she led the systematic evaluation of low-performing schools in several U.S. states. As the Managing Director of Operations at KIPP Atlanta, Vinice led the implementation of talent management and school operations. She currently serves on the boards of All Our Kin, TNTP, and Ingenuity Prep Charter School. Vinice earned her MBA from the Yale School of Management and her BBA from Emory University.
Martha Kanter - Speaker
Chief Executive Officer, College Promise
Martha Kanter is Executive Director of the College Promise Campaign and Senior Fellow at the Steinhardt Institute for Higher Education Policy at New York University. Martha joined the College Promise Campaign after nearly five years as the US Under Secretary of Education, a position to which she was appointed by President Barack Obama in 2009. Earlier in her career, Martha served as Chancellor of the Foothill-De Anza Community College District and President of De Anza College, and she led bond campaigns to improve student access and opportunity to world-class campus facilities in Silicon Valley. She was also an initial founding president of the national Presidents’ Campus Climate Commitment.
Cathe Dykstra - Panelist

As the Chief Possibility Officer, President and CEO of Family Scholar House, Cathe is committed to promoting the importance of education as an asset that appreciates over time and provides long-term self-sufficiency through career-track employment. Cathe sees her role as changing the paradigm for work with families and foster alumni in poverty from short-term support to long-term solutions. Under her leadership, the organization was born from Project Women, with a bigger, broader mission, and comprehensive, holistic services and programs that now serve over 5,000 families annually.
Dr. Michael Turner - Panelist
Director of Student Relations and Ombudsperson, Morehouse College
Dr. Michael Turner is a demonstrated higher education administrator and practitioner with a commitment to student advocacy and leadership development. Upon arriving at Morehouse College, his first appointment was as a Program Coordinator with the Office of Health Professions. Since that time and for over ten years, he has been able to advance his career through numerous roles within the Office of Student Services. In 2019, Dr. Turner was appointed as the Director of Student Relations and Ombudsperson, a role that allows him to support student success through advocacy. Within the framework of Student Relations, he is committed to providing a platform for fielding students’ concerns while seeking appropriate resolutions in a fair and equitable manner.
